Super easy vegan pesto rosso

This pesto is incredible and takes 5 minutes to prepare. It’s lower in oil and a bit firmer than regular pesto, which makes it great on pizza, pasta (you might went to thin it out a bit), bread or even as a dip. Recipe courtesy of the BF.

1 C ground hazelnuts
3 t  dried basil
1 to 2 t chopped garlic or garlic powder
1 pinch of salt

¼ C sunflower oil
⅓ C tomato paste
2 t olive oil
1 t balsamico vinegar

Mix up dry ingredients then add oil (sunflower + olive), tomato paste and balsamico. That’s it, five minutes. Play around with the ingredients and add more garlic or basil to suit your tastebuds.
